Wine dinners and events | Christmas 2023 at The Greyhound

It was great to see so many familiar faces and some new ones at our recent Burgundy wine dinner. We had a great time learning more about the region and its wines from Adrian at Thorman Hunt and of course hugely enjoyed tasting them alongside Jermaine’s fab four-course menu.

We were spoilt with a dry-aged beef tartare, a butter poached coley, mushroom agnolotti, roasted guinea fowl breast, and some Tunworth cheese.

This month, we were also invited to an exclusive tasting with one of our English sparkling wine suppliers, Digby Fine English, which celebrated its 10-year anniversary with a stunning event in Covent Garden showcasing their British wines. We absolutely love what they do, so much so that we have started to serve their Brut and Rosé by the glass in the restaurant.

It may feel like summer’s barely over, but our Christmas lunches and dinners sold out so quickly last year and we’ve already had booking requests, so we’ve published our festive lunch menu online here for your perusal. We also wanted to give a shout-out to the Beaconsfield Country Fayre – the final count is in, and we managed to raise an incredible £1,882 for local charities! We’re so proud to have been able to support the event and thank you to everyone who came along and took part.
