Top 22 in the UK | Leadership podcast | Proud of Bucks

Dear valued guests,

We are so unbelievably proud to announce that we have been ranked as the 22nd best restaurant in the whole of the UK in Square Meal’s Top 100 Restaurants awards.

This was our first year on the list and to have been ranked at number 22 is a testament to the amazing relationship we have with you, our incredible Greyhound family, who took the time to vote for us.

This month we are delighted to announce that we have been recognised for our work in the community and were named ‘Best Community Group Contribution’ at Buckinghamshire County Council’s ‘Proud of Bucks’ Awards.

It is an honour for us to serve our community both inside and outside the restaurant, and to have been voted for and recognised by you means the world to us – thank you so much.

Meanwhile, Daniel was recently invited onto the ‘Leading For Business Excellence’ podcast with PMI where he was asked to offer his insights on leadership.

He spoke to Susannah Clarke about how he set up a restaurant in his mum’s garage as a child, working for Gordon Ramsay, and how he develops the team at the restaurant. You can listen to the full conversation here

On this month’s set lunch menu, we’re serving up duck confit with cassoulet and carrot, as well as sea trout with herb gnocchi, samphire and tomato. Why not finish that off with a beautiful buttermilk parfait with mandarin and stem ginger? Or we’ve got a treat for the cheese fans: Baron Bigod with potato, black onion seed and sultana.

Scroll down to have a look at what we’re eating and drinking this month, including a tapas-inspired dish from chef James – perfect as we approach the summer months – and to learn a bit more about where we get our duck, chicken and cheese from.

We’re in esteemed company as our butcher also supplies Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace.

We look forward to seeing you very soon.
