Merry Christmas | December and January opening days
Dear valued guests,
We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for your support over the last year, it means so much to us and we’re always mindful that we wouldn’t be here without it.
Reflecting on 2023, it’s been a busy year for the Greyhound – we launched an apprenticeship programme, Jermaine stepped up to head chef in the kitchen, and we hosted our first wine dinner (and our second, with more in the pipeline...)
We were also named the 21st best restaurant in the UK, one of the best value set lunch menus in the country, voted one of Britain’s best local restaurants, and ranked among the best countryside pubs.
But ultimately, the most important thing for us is that we’re providing every single one of our guests with an unforgettable dining experience and we’ve got lots of plans for 2024 to make sure we continue to improve our service every day.
Part of that is ensuring our teams are well-rested and energised to welcome you back in the new year – we’ll be closed 24-26 December so our team can spend some well-deserved time with their families, and we’ll also be taking a short break from 1 January so that we can reopen with a bang on 16 January.
In the meantime, wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Daniel, Margriet, Jermaine and the whole Greyhound team x
