Promotions are in the air…
We are delighted to announce the promotions of Hannah Rippon and Andrius Prelgauskas to the roles of assistant manager and head waiter.
Hannah, who previously worked as the restaurant’s head waiter, will now be responsible for managing the overall business operations alongside owners, Daniel Crump and Margriet Vandezande-Crump.
As part of his new role, Andrius will lead the waiting team and work with the owners to train and develop the front-of-house staff.
Hannah and Andrius have had extensive careers in prestigious hospitality establishments. Hannah previously worked at two Michelin-starred Moor Hall in Lancashire, and Andrius at Tom Kerridge's two Michelin-starred pub, the Hand & Flowers.
Both also held positions at The Oxford Blue in Old Windsor — working alongside their current employers.
Daniel Crump, co-proprietor, The Greyhound, said: “Both Hannah and Andrius are extremely talented, passionate and dedicated professionals. Being a part of their progression has been a fun journey and one that has only just started. They have both earned their new positions by working hard and remaining focussed on our main objective which is and always will be our guests here at The Greyhound.
Hannah said: “I am very excited to be starting my new position after lockdown and working hard to continue to push the team forward. Being part of The Greyhound team from the beginning has been brilliant and very rewarding as I have seen the business go from strength to strength, despite all the current challenges that the pandemic has brought."
Andrius added: “I am very grateful and excited to start my first role as a head waiter. The Greyhound is an ideal workplace for me as it has a real family feel which I love to have in a workplace. Our team is really close and I could not ask for a better platform to improve myself and strive for perfection daily."
