Festive menu | Jean-Claude visit | Belgian beers

We were delighted to welcome the hospitality legend that is Jean-Claude Breton to dine with us at the restaurant this month. Jean-Claude, who was Gordon Ramsay’s longest-serving maître d' at his three-Michelin-starred London restaurant for more than 20 years, has been Daniel’s mentor since they worked together while Daniel was head waiter at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay.

Jean-Claude has played a major role in shaping the careers of so many front-of-house people working across the UK and beyond. He has so generously tutored Daniel in the art of great hospitality service over the years to ensure it is passed down through the generations – something Daniel himself is very passionate about.

We’re waving goodbye to our October menu as we transition to a host of new dishes that make the most of the late autumn bounty.

From next month, you can look forward to dishes such as pressed Buckinghamshire ham terrine with sauce gribiche and pickles; Cornish pollock with truffled celery and apple; and set pumpkin custard and pumpkin seed praline with pumpkin sorbet.

Speaking of new menus – it’s that time of year again and we’re so excited to have launched our festive menu which is going to be available from 29 November.

Dishes will include a warming ox cheek broth, the classic turkey leg with cranberries and bread sauce, and Cornish ray wing with mussels, pumpkin and panang velouté if you’re after something a bit different this Christmas.

Whether you’re looking to book a family get-together, a lunch with friends or your office Christmas party, give us a call or book through the website to reserve your table – we can’t wait to celebrate with you.

See you soon.
