Zuzanna’s award | Matrix Performance training | September events
We’re extremely proud to announce that Zuzanna, who many of you already know is one of our senior waiters, has achieved the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts’ Annual Awards of Excellence! She was one of just 30 talented young chefs and waiters from top establishments across the UK to receive the award this year at an event held at Claridge’s in London.
To achieve the award, candidates must score at least 70% in their category, judged by hospitality leaders from some of the country's top restaurants, hotels and food and drink establishments. As well as her award, she also got a Magnum of Champagne – cheers to that! 🍾
We’re always investing in our team, supporting their skills and knowledge development, as part of which we recently brought the Matrix Performance team in to help our Greyhound family perform at their best.
Luke and Tom, who have decades of military experience and have worked with some incredibly high-profile names from the worlds of business and sport, trained our staff on understanding the psychology behind high performance in high-pressure environments, helping them learn how to regulate their nervous systems in moments of stress and develop sustainable ways to support their motivation, focus and teamwork.
Meanwhile, we were also absolutely thrilled to have been featured in hospitality industry publication The Caterer, in which we were described as setting ‘the standard for seasonal British food’! Yet another fantastic achievement and further recognition for the team this year.
