Celebrating our Team’s Incredible Achievements
One of the things we’re most proud of at The Greyhound is our team, and as we continue to grow, it’s incredibly rewarding to celebrate the people who grow with us. Recently, we’ve been delighted to mark a series of well-earned promotions across both our front and back of house, a milestone that reflects our long-term commitment to developing talent from within.
In the restaurant, Lauren Gulliford-Brown has stepped into the role of Restaurant Manager after four years with us. Since joining as a junior waiter, Lauren has progressed through senior waiter, head waiter and assistant manager roles, and her journey is a wonderful example of what dedication and curiosity can lead to.
We’re also thrilled to see Rohit Sharma promoted to Assistant Manager, having worked his way from senior waiter to head waiter, taking on increasing leadership responsibility along the way. Natalie Sherriff has moved into the role of Head Waiter after joining us in June 2024, quickly becoming an integral part of the team and a valued mentor to those around her.
In the kitchen, Nathan Moore continues his development with a promotion from Demi Chef de Partie to Chef de Partie. Having originally studied business management, Nathan decided to follow his lifelong ambition to cook, joining us in 2024 and embracing every opportunity to learn and grow. Sam Clyne has also been promoted, moving from Chef de Partie to Senior Chef de Partie. Sam’s journey began as an apprentice commis chef, and his progression through the ranks reflects the clear pathway for development within our kitchen brigade.
“I am incredibly proud of the whole team. When we opened, our mission was to nurture our people and support their progression. This is just the beginning of the story, and I am excited to see each of them continue to develop in their new roles.” - Daniel
“At The Greyhound, we are more than just a team. We are a family. Everyone supports one another, and that culture underpins our approach to development. These promotions reflect progression based on our team members’ merit, performance and commitment.” - Margriet
This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see where the next chapter takes our team.
