Glasses for guests | Greyhound lager | Country Fayre
To make sure every guest has the best possible experience at the Greyhound, we want to make sure everyone can freely peruse the brilliant menus our chefs work so hard on. We’ve partnered with local, sustainable, and female-founded luxury optician CBTR who have supplied us with a custom-made box with a selection of beautifully designed reading glasses for our guests to use in case they’ve left theirs at home.
We’ve also got a little discount and special CBTR offers for guests dining with us so do ask the team when you’re next in.
Meanwhile, we know you love our Greyhound lager, so much so that we’ve made it available to buy at the restaurant so you can enjoy a taste of the Greyhound at home! The lovely team at Windsor and Eton Brewery designed this special lager just for us when we opened – we’ve known them for years since Margriet and Dan were working in Windsor themselves. We love their passion, knowledge, the fact they are local and independent – and ultimately because their beer tastes fantastic!
Greyhound lager is light, refreshing, with a bit of bitterness and touch of sweetness – and of course it’s absolutely delicious. It’s only available to buy at the restaurant, so get yourselves down here for a cold one.
Speaking of libations, we’re once again going to be supporting the Beaconsfield Country Fayre in the Old Town on Monday 25 August. It’s a free event full of fun things to do for all the family – including a barbecue, classic cars, go-karting, a dog show and a tug-of-war – and we’ll be running the bar with all proceeds going towards Rotary Beaconsfield, Cancer Research UK and Friends of St Mary’s. Do drop by and say hello!
We take our role in the community seriously and support where we can, and we’re very pleased to also be supporting Beaconsfield’s September on the Green on the afternoon of Saturday 13 September on the Town Hall Green. Free to attend, there’s going to be live music, face painting, a coconut shy, a tombola, and all proceeds will be donated.
