A visit from Heston | Outdoor dining | Rebecca's distinction

Our team were absolutely delighted to welcome the legend that is Heston Blumenthal in the restaurant this month. It was a huge honour for the team to get to meet and serve him, and he got to meet George and our own legends in the kitchen too!

Meanwhile, Dan was recently invited to take part in a round table by hospitality industry news site The Caterer, to discuss how businesses in the sector can be more sustainable.

As part of our drive to be more sustainable, we love using produce when it’s in season and at its best. So, we’re making the most of all the spring fruit and vegetables coming in right now, from asparagus and rhubarb to purple-sprouting broccoli – check out our menus to see what’s good today.

We're thrilled that it's finally the season to open our outdoor dining space, so do come on down from 29 April to enjoy an al fresco drink or meal and check out how beautiful the garden is looking.

And last but by absolutely no means least, we're incredibly proud to wish a big congratulations to Rebecca, our apprentice junior waiter, for achieving a distinction in her hospitality team member (food & beverage service) level 2 qualification! You might recognise Rebecca from our Instagram where we chatted to her about her passion for hospitality from a young age, serving plastic burgers to her family as a child.

Rebecca is now going on to train towards her level 3 qualification. We are very proud of her and watching her progression these past few years has been incredible. She has a fantastic and exciting future ahead of her in this industry and we look forward to supporting her.
