Our garden | New artwork | Best local

Spring has well and truly sprung! Our garden is looking great and we’re very excited to be opening our outdoor terrace in May – you can already book a table whether you’re after the full tasting menu experience or a nice drink among the greenery. The plants and flowers are coming along so nicely, and we can even give you a garden tour if you’d like to see our homegrown produce in all its glory.

We’ve also got new and interesting things happening indoors. As you know, we use our space to showcase local artists, and we’ve got a new collection on show in our main dining room upstairs: Varvara Neiman’s kaleidoscope of pastoral scenes, neo-Surrealist paintings, portraits and cityscapes.

Varvara was one of the youngest students admitted to train at the Academy of Fine Arts in St Petersburg and worked in the capital’s theatres, producing set designs for various productions, before moving to the UK in 1999. She has exhibited in London, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Suffolk, and now has a studio in Beaconsfield. She also offers art classes in Beaconsfield Old Town which you can find more about here.

Meanwhile, if you’ve been to the Greyhound and enjoyed your dining experience, we’d be so grateful if you’d consider nominating us for the Good Food Guide’s 100 Best Local Restaurants 2024. We made it into the top 100 last year and we’d love to make it one better this year and get Beaconsfield a mention among the top regional restaurants in the country, or even the best of the best!
